Mandy Moore with Bold New Plum Lip Color and Perfect Face Makeup

Mandy Moore appeared at a movie premiere in 2007 with her beautiful face flawlessly made up. From her cheeks to her forehead--everything looks perfect.

Mandy wore a plum lipstick--a dark red color that gets you noticed. One paper commented that she looked all grown up, and one magazine featured her new evening makeup.

The StyleWatch issue of People mag in October 2007 asked readers for comments about Mandy's lip color. "Would you wear it?"

Some said no, and another girl thought it was too dramatic for Mandy's pale face.

Flash bulbs tend to exaggerate pale faces; Mandy's natural skin tone is actually darker than it appears here. But it is still a dramatic look.

Mandy had not appeared in public before with this shade of lipstick, and it appears as if her lips were not lined with lipliner, because there's no color and definition on the edges (upper and lower lip).

You really need to get the edges right to perfect this night make-up look. When the color is this strong, imperfections are more noticeable.

Notice how Mandy's evening look above is in direct contrast to her other featured make-up style. Here her lips are emphasized and her eyes are neutral; whereas in the other photo, you see her eyes were played up while her lips were neutral.

Some girls like to play up their best facial feature. But if you have great lips and lovely eyes like Mandy does, you can do either.
