Hilary Duff looks very pretty with her eye makeup in this style. It's kind of soft and sexy. Her eyeshadow is not too strong but it fades attractively.

Her face makeup looks absolutely perfect for a wonderful, beautiful, clean, healthy teen look.

Hilary says she likes to do her own makeup at Hollywood events, and if you see many pictures of her, you'll notice she's a pro at applying eyeliner. It always looks perfect.

Although we don't know if Hilary or a makeup artist applied her makeup in this picture, notice how well the makeup colors for her eyes, cheeks, and lips complement her hair color. It's very good color coordination and so flattering for a polished look of natural beauty.

Despite the fact Hilary's make up here was for a night out, and looks nice, some girls may find it's too demure or conservative for prom night.

The colors are toned down and almost muted; there's not really any punch. Eyeliner is a staple for night looks, but pale colors and earth tones don't provide the most exciting evening makeup palette.
